This is my opinion on how NOT to give tithes and offerings in The Church. The issue of the right way to give in the Church is one that cannot be over-emphasized. There are so many perspectives and opinions as to the right way to give or who to give to, but as a Christian, it is necessary that we back our positions and practices with the Word of God. The video below is my position on a certain practice observed by many Congregations (Giving offerings and Tithing for the sake of one's tax returns) , which I do not think is healthy for Christians and their blessings/rewards as pertains to giving to GOD genuinely. Isn't it ironic that yearly, the most charitable donations are received within the months of Jan -- April, just in time to meet the Tax Returns filing deadline? I will appreciate other points of view, so please express yourself freely, but back it up with the Scriptures.
